Chaperone is the service in which the owner, pet and a UniPetrans professional make the agreed journey together. It includes preparation and coordination before departure, as well as assistance during travel.
Who makes the journey?
The owner travels with their pet and a UniPetrans professional. The service is not limited to planning from an office: professional accompaniment during the journey is part of Chaperone.
What preparation and coordination are included?
Before travel, we review the animal's details, itinerary, carrier and document preparation, and coordinate arrangements for the agreed service. This preparation is always included in both Chaperone and Pet Nanny.
The proposal identifies tasks, responsibilities, meeting points and conditions awaiting confirmation. Official procedures remain with the vet, airline or competent authorities.
How does the professional help at the airport?
They accompany you and help coordinate the pet-related aspects of the journey within the agreed scope. Timings, animal presentation, documents and connections are reviewed before departure so you know the planned steps.
Will we always be physically together?
You share the agreed itinerary, but your pet's location and accessibility depend on the travel arrangement. An animal accepted as AVIH travels in the designated hold and cannot remain beside the passengers during the flight.
Professional accompaniment does not override airline conditions or guarantee cabin travel. We assess the accepted options; we do not transport pets as manifest cargo.
How is arrival coordinated?
The plan defines arrival tasks, meeting points and any assistance continuing after the flight, where included. Destination checks and onward transfers should be considered as part of the itinerary.
How does Chaperone differ from Pet Nanny?
With Chaperone, the owner and pet travel with the professional. With Pet Nanny, the professional accompanies the pet without the owner making the journey. Both include preparation and coordination; they are not different levels of that preparatory work.

What do we need before confirmation?
Tell us who and which animals will travel, the origin, destination, dates and individual needs. Declare any existing reservations. We will assess feasibility and the scope of accompaniment before confirming the service.
